Cha Cha Cha  2008
Taiwan Fine Art Museum, Taipei, Taiwan
Hand brushed stencilled mural, 40 metres in length

Cha Cha Cha is synonymous with the Latin dance beat from the early 50s. It is also the staccato sound of the artisan's brush as it hits the wall through the silhouette of the hand-made stencil. Buddhist worshipers, war planes, water Lilly leaves, mice, and motorway planted saplings. Despite carrying war connotations, this work is rather a battlefield of kinds, which can only be found in the mind of the observer. The viewer must attempt to negotiate the chaos by deciphering the visual language from within personal perspectives and histories.
